It is Finished: Transforming Your Life Through the Finished Work of the Cross by Nerida Walker
One of the best books I’ve read on what Jesus’ work on the cross actually accomplished for us. Our salvation is complete: spirit, body and soul, and God wants us to experience as much wholeness as possible here on earth. Nerida explains this, verse by verse.

The Sacred Romance by John Eldredge and Brent Curtis
This book has had a huge impact on my life. I first read it when I was about 18 and over the years have returned to it again and again for encouragement. It helped me realize that I wasn’t abnormal for having the longings I have in my heart and it challenged me to trust God with every part of my story.

Hidden in My Heart: A lullaby Journey Through Scripture, Volume 1 These lullabies aren’t just for kids! These Scripture-based songs are beautiful and soothing for all ages. A great way to memorize Scripture and calm an anxious heart. I love them!

The Action Bible Audiobook

This is another resource geared toward kids, but I’ve been listening to it with my nephews and not only have they been loving it, I have too! It’s very entertaining as well as fun to get a refresher on some great Bible stories.

Other tools for intentional living

Moleskine Weekly Planners, XL size and L size

I’m not ashamed to admit that I am a little old-school, and I love paper calendars—no google calendar for me! I have used both the large size planner (5 x 8.25) and the X-large (7.5 x 9.5) and love them both. There’s a monthly calendar in the front and the rest of the planner has each week on one side of the page and a blank notebook page on the other. I love being able to see the full month overview and then get down to the details in the weekly section. I would be very scattered without my planner!

Kotobuki Owl Mug

If you’re like me, whatever you’re doing, you’re going to need a cup or tea or coffee. This quirky, adorable owl is one of my favorite mugs to sip from whether I’m working hard on a project or savoring a quiet, relaxing moment on the deck.
